Whilst you’ve been on holiday this summer, I’ve been learning and reflecting.

Don’t for a second think this is a sacrifice I’ve made or that I am glorifying productivity and undermining rest. I have had a bit of holiday too and have some more coming in September.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to receive the gift of training with my teacher Jambo on what I perceive to be the future of modern yoga. More recently, I have also completed a Yin Yoga training online with Laura Green.

I have had a huge upgrade as a person, as a teacher and as a practitioner. Someone even pointed out to me the other day that my voice has changed, that it sounds deeper and more confident (I’ve noticed this too).

What this means for you if you attend my yoga classes

If you practice yoga online with me, your practice will start to feel more personalised, even in a group setting. You will learn where your compensation patterns are through simple benchmarking exercises, and you will be able to integrate them into each practice to help you feel more physically balanced and mentally settled.

If you practice in person classes with me, you will start to experience the soothing and supportive power of touch. This kind of touch is there to help you feel cared for and seen, to ease places of tension and holding. It is not about pushing or forcing into a predetermined shape, but to find the shape that feels good to your body. Touch is 100% optional and your choice, every single time.

New yoga classes from September!

From September, I will be offering two new Yoga classes: one in Barrowford, one in Clitheroe. Check out the schedules below for more information.

Forrest Yoga & Flow - Pendle Wellbeing Hub, Barrowford: Starting on Wednesday 16 September, 6pm. Weekly class with all the elements of Forrest Yoga — a slow strong and introspective practice rooted in intention — now with the added elements of biomechanics and touch.

Warm Yin Yoga - Vanessa Flow Yoga, Clitheroe: Starting on Friday 4th of September, 6:45pm. Fortnightly class to support you in unwinding the week with all the elements you’d find when going on retreat — gentle settling, cosy vibes and zero expectations.

If you need support, I’m here for you

Health Coaching & Mentoring is not just about good health habits. In fact, from where I sit, this definition is not entirely helpful.

When you would with a coach or mentor, you are working with someone who is seeing you in everything that you are and are experiencing to support you in finding the next level of your evolution.

In particular, I work with individuals who are experiencing stress, energy depletion and who feel a little lost at the moment.

Together we look at the things that are depleting your energy, triggering your stress response, and pulling you away from your beautiful essence. Then, we take steps to replenish you, from the inside out.

I have 4 spaces left for coaching starting in September, so please write to me at [email protected] if you’d like to have a little chat about what’s on your mind, whether you are unsure or not.
